John L. Nelson, O.D.
Dr. Nelson received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of California, School of Optometry and has been in private practice for over 30 years.
He was an assistant clinical professor at the School of Optometry at Berkeley for 13 years. He has done research on the cornea and contact lenses. He is experienced in fitting complicated contact lenses, such as custom-made Rigid Gas Permeable lenses.
Dr. Nelson examines patients of all ages for eyeglasses, contact lenses and is licensed in diagnostic and therapeutic drugs to treat any eye injuries or disorders.
Dr. Nelson works with Dr. Mark Mandel to co-manage laser refractive surgery or cataract operations.
He is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, Bay Area Optometric Council, and is a member of the contact lens section of the American Optometric Association.

Christina Atkinson, O.D.
Dr. Atkinson received her doctor of optometry degree in 1995 from the University of California, School of optometry.
Dr. Atkinson is T.P.A. certified to prescribe any medications to treat eye diseases.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association.
Dr. Atkinson recently completed a 24 hour course on the treatment of glaucoma so that we can take better care of our patients.
